I had been doing wedding hair on the side since 2015, but 2020 is when things really changed!
We all know what happened - COVID hit... and I had my last baby, making me a mom of 3! At the time, I was an Area Manager for a salon franchise in the NWPA and Cleveland territories, and made the decision not to return after maternity leave.
As a brand new stay at home mom, I decided to try to do more weddings to bring in extra income. I started a facebook page and named it after my kids.
On September 30, 2020, Gracie Mae Bridal Hair was created.
Since the first official season of 2021, I have invested in countless hours of education and have had the honor of joining over 120 brides and their parties on their wedding mornings, styling well over 1,000 formal styles. I have also learned what I am able to contribute to a bride's wedding morning that goes above and beyond styling hair. That is the promise of relaxation, peace of mind, and an elevated experience. To better reflect what my brides can expect when working with me, Gracie Mae Bridal Hair got a glow up after the 2023 season and is now PROMISE Bridal Artistry.
2024 is almost completely booked, and 2025 dates are filling quickly.

First and foremost, I am married to the love of my life (I've had a crush on him since I was 18!), and a mom to 3 beautiful kids. I am so thankful that being an entrepreneur allows me to call the shots on my schedule and focus on my family first.
I was a New Year's Eve bride! I went with a floor length white cape for those magical snowy photos. Winter weddings will always have a special place in my heart.
I LOVE a good power suit! There is nothing like a blazer to make me feel confident. This might be because I spent 12 years in corporate management before going back to school for cosmetology at age 29. That was almost ten years ago.... I'll let you do the math!
I'm a bit of a nerd. You'll rarely catch me reading fiction. I'm almost always learning something new, from business to health and nutrition to self development to modern feminism to world religions. I love in depth conversations!
The action everyone sees is on the big day - THE WEDDING DAY. That's what it's all about!
But the logistics to bringing together a relaxing and seamless morning happen weekdays, behind the scenes.
From emails to contracts, quickbooks to marketing, educating myself and practicing new skills, my days are filled with equal parts business and taking care of my family. I wouldn't have it any other way!
